Is it too late to register in Virginia?
Register online by Oct 23, 2026 if you can. Mailed forms should be postmarked by Oct 23, 2026. Register in person by Nov 3, 2026. After Oct 23, register in person at your registrar's early voting site or at your polling place on Election Day and vote a provisional ballot, which counts once your registration is confirmed.

Right now, a felony conviction takes away your vote until the Governor restores it. You can check or apply through the Governor's restoration of rights office. On Nov 3, 2026, Question 3 asks voters whether to restore voting rights automatically on release from prison (it would start Jan 1, 2027).
