Register online by Oct 23, 2026 if you can. Mailed forms should be postmarked by Oct 23, 2026. Register in person by Nov 3, 2026. Register at your early voting site or Election Day polling place with a photo ID and proof of Idaho residence, then vote.
Do I need ID to vote in Idaho?
You'll be asked for photo ID: an Idaho driver's license or ID card, US passport or federal photo ID, tribal ID, or an Idaho concealed weapons license. If you don't have one, you can sign a Personal Identification Affidavit instead.
Can college students vote where they go to school in Idaho?
You can register at your Idaho college address or keep your home-state registration. Use whichever place you consider home, but only one. Out-of-state students can register in Idaho after living there 30 days. Student IDs don't count as voter ID in Idaho, and the state warns that changing your declared residence can affect scholarships or stipends.
